Azul Mini
Azul Mini is a compact version of the award-winning tile-laying game Azul.
The game is inspired by azulejos — decorative ceramic tiles introduced to the Iberian Peninsula by the Moors. When Manuel I of Portugal visited the famous Alhambra palace in southern Spain, he was so impressed by the beautiful decorative tiles that he ordered similar decorations for his own palace in Portugal.
In the game, players act as tile-laying artists tasked with decorating the walls of the Royal Palace of Évora. Players take turns drafting colored tiles from suppliers and placing them on their personal boards.
At the end of each round, players score points based on how their tiles are arranged. Additional points are awarded for completing patterns and sets, while unused tiles may reduce your score.
The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
