Carcassonne exp 1: Inns & Cathedrals (2025)
⚠️ Attention! This is an expansion. The base game “Carcassonne” is required to play.
“Inns & Cathedrals” is the first major expansion for Carcassonne, adding new depth and strategic options to the classic tile-laying game. The expansion introduces cathedrals and inns, which allow players to score bonus points for cities and roads—if they are completed successfully.
New land tiles feature redesigned cities, roads, and monasteries. Each player also gains a large meeple, which counts as two regular meeples and opens up new tactical possibilities. The expansion also adds components for a sixth player and includes scoring tiles to make point tracking clearer and easier.
