Cascadia Junior – EN
What will you discover on your adventure in Cascadia? Build your map, match animals and habitats, and collect sightings to score points!
Cascadia Junior is a standalone game designed to introduce younger players to the spatial puzzle of the award-winning Cascadia. It teaches pattern building, set collection, and basic addition in a fun and accessible way. Explore a vibrant landscape filled with bears, hawks, elk, salmon, and foxes across mountains, wetlands, prairies, rivers, and forests.
How to Play:
Players take turns drafting habitat tiles and adding them to their environment.
Match identical habitats to grow habitat corridors and score more points.
Create groups of three wildlife icons on connected tiles.
Earn wildlife and habitat sighting tokens and add them to your panorama board to build your own Cascadian wilderness scene.
At the end of the game, players flip over their sighting tokens to count the conifer cones they collected. The player with the most cones wins!
Cascadia Junior serves as a stepping stone toward more advanced gameplay. An advanced mode introduces wildlife scoring cards with more complex shapes. Once mastered, children can move on to the family mode of the original Cascadia and eventually the full game experience.
