The Two Towers: Trick-Taking Game is a narrative-driven cooperative card game in which players take on the roles of heroes and villains from J. R. R. Tolkien’s legendary tale The Two Towers.
This standalone title continues the story from 2025’s The Fellowship of the Ring: Trick-Taking Game, covering chapters 19–36. The chapters may be played in any order, and playing the earlier game is not required — though playing them sequentially offers the best experience.
In each chapter, every player takes on a different character role, each with a specific condition that must be fulfilled to complete the chapter and advance the story. As you progress, new characters, items, and challenges are introduced.
The One Ring is the game’s only trump card, but rings cannot be led until someone plays one off-suit.
Game Modes:
2-player mode – A dummy hand is dealt with some cards face up and others face down. One of the players controls this character’s playable cards.
Solo mode – One player manages four face-up hands, each assigned a character, with only a limited selection of cards available at a time. After each trick, new cards are dealt.
