War of The Ring – The Card Game
Inspired by the best-selling and award-winning War of the Ring, War of the Ring: The Card Game brings players into the legendary world created by J. R. R. Tolkien in The Lord of the Rings.
Up to four players compete in two teams: the Shadow and the Free Peoples. Each player uses a unique card deck representing the strengths and weaknesses of the different factions involved in the war.
The Free Peoples must complete their desperate quest to destroy the One Ring while defending their lands from the advancing forces of Sauron and his allies.
Meanwhile, the Shadow players must act swiftly to defeat their enemies before the quest is completed—or slowly corrupt Frodo Baggins by burdening him with wounds, fatigue, and sorrow.
Players take turns playing cards representing characters, armies, items, and events from the War of the Ring. These cards influence the Fellowship’s journey or help players defend and conquer strongholds across Middle-earth as new battlegrounds appear each round.
Featuring over 100 original illustrations from renowned Tolkien artists, including landscapes from The Shire to Mordor by John Howe and Fataneh Howe, this game is both an exciting strategy experience and a beautiful collectible for fans of Tolkien’s world.
